A small amount of ash is meticulously incorporated into the ceramic bead during the creation process. This ensures the safety of the ash. There is nothing to fill, the ash is safe and secure within the glaze.
Yes. We treat every set of ashes with the utmost respect and care. Each piece is created individually from start to finish in my home studio.
Only a small amount of ash is required for a bead—typically less than a teaspoon—allowing you to keep the remainder with you and/or your family. The figurines hold about 4 Tablespoons of ash.
